Pitchfork is coming back to Union Park next July, Friday the 14th through Sunday the 16th. This year though, they’re trying something new with a holiday sale. A limited batch of 3-day passes go on sale this Monday on Pitchfork's website for a discounted rate of $140. Once those sell out, the 3-day passes go on sale at the normal cost of $165. Single day passes also go on sale this Monday for $65. There is no discount on those, though. This year, Pitchfork is also offering a layaway plan for normal priced 3-day passes for those who may be short on cash at the moment. Interested parties pay $165 over the course of three payments. You have until March 1, 2017 if you want to take advantage of the layaway offer. As of right now, we have no idea who’s playing Pitchfork next year. We have our hopes and suspicions (crosses fingers for A Tribe Called Quest) but that information usually comes out around the middle of winter. Oh well. In the meanwhile, check out the video below of Broken Social Scene performing at Pitchfork back in July. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b8H5GlZqR4s
