TCR Mixtape No. 12: Thanksgiving Tranquility

Thanksgiving marks the beginning of the holiday season, which means spending a lot of time in a confined space with a lot of drunk family members. Throughout the season's various dinners and holiday parties, you'll need to expend your scarce energy avoiding political arguments ("debates"), or at least disarming potential verbal sparrings as quickly as possible. Hardly the rest you've been seeking amid holiday shopping, spending time with old high school or college friends, and catching up with work before Christmas hits.
Luckily, we dedicated this week's playlist to keeping things mellow. You can look forward to listening to classics, like Joni Mitchell's "Little Green," to new hits, like Whitney's "No Woman," to climatic and soundscapes, like "First Breath After Coma" by Explosions in the Sky or "Hoppípolla" by Sigur Rós.
