The Eclectic Mamby On The Beach Lineup is Out!

Mamby 2017 Festival lineup announcements have been starting to come in and they are looking good! This week it's Mamby On The Beach's turn and they have added a very impressive lineup to the mix of festivals. Mamby has been doing a great job of gathering an eclectic mix of acts that range across the music spectrum to Chicago for the last three years. They have invited hip hop, electronic, rock, and genres beyond to grace their stages for some fun music on the Chicago beach-side. The two day fest will be taking over Oakwood Beach on June 24th and June 25th, a week or so earlier than previous years, giving us all little breathing room between the big festivals. The headliners of this year's Mamby On The Beach offer some of the biggest highlights of the lineup. The psychedelic rock of MGMT, indie rock staples Local Natives, and MisterWives indie pop bliss will be capping off Saturday night of the festival. Sunday's headliners add to the already exciting list with the massive pop rock of Walk the Moon and the experimental soundscapes of producer Flying Lotus. These headliner exemplify just how dedicated Mamby is in their task of amassing a diverse set of performers at the fest. Beyond the wonderful headliners, the Mamby lineup features some very interesting highlights. Saturday has Miike Snow adding in some indie pop to the day while Raury will croon his way into everyone's hearts. Thundercat's blend of oddball humor and quirky bass rhythms will light the crowd up on Sunday along with Todd Terje and the Olsens' throwback electronic disco and STRKR's modern electro-pop twinkles under the warm Chicago sun. There will also be some familiar acts to the sandy stages including as Klingande, Windy City Soul Club (and their choice DJ skills), and Ravyn Lenae, and Cut Copy (this time around doing a non DJ set). The lineup is also particularly stellar as it includes Saba (who collaborated with Chance the Rapper on "Angels"), R&B singer BJ the Chicago Kid, the intense performer Sir the Baptist, the aforementioned Windy City Soul Club and local DJ Green Velvet, who will be headlining a tribute to the 25 years of Chicago-founded label Relief Records. You can check the full lineup on the Mamby On The Beach website. Tickets for the festival are available now! Tickets for single day tickets for Saturday or Sunday start at $62.50 for general admission and go up to $99.50 for VIP passes. Two day passes are also available at $112.12 for general admission and VIP passes for $169.99. The festival is 17+ and more announcements on Mamby's interesting and unique activities at the fest will be coming in the future!
