Wizard World Chicago has come and gone for another year. We had a great time every day of the con, and are looking forward to all the fun ahead in 2018. For now though, relive the fun with our cosplay galleries from each day of the con!
Thursday was the first day of Wizard World Chicago 2017, and it was nice and relaxed. Check out our thoughts from Day One here.
Friday was the first full day of the con, and brought lots of cosplay and interesting panels. Our report from the Day Two floor is here.
Saturday is always the busiest day, and the cosplay was fantastic, though we’re surprised we caught it with all the panel action. Check out our Day Three coverage right here.
Sunday finished off the weekend, and was still pretty busy, with Doctor Who guests bringing the crowds early on and Danny Trejo rounding out the celebrity guest list. You can find more on Day Four here.
Wizard World delivered this year, with lots of great entertainment, plenty of things to spend all your money on, and some really fun panels. It didn’t quite have the star power it did last year, especially with the absence of David Tennant, but what we did get to see we enjoyed thoroughly. In addition, this year it edged out C2E2 for us simply due to accessibility. C2E2 had an incredibly impressive guest list and it really seems to put a focus on artists and comics, much like the cons of days gone by, but they simply didn’t handle their growth appropriately, making it hard to really get a chance to get to appreciate those strengths. Wizard World, meanwhile, used 4 days to their advantage and featured wide open spaces to appreciate everything it had to offer. In either case though, you can’t go wrong if you want to spend some time among fellow lovers of all things nerdy and get behind the scenes tidbits from your favorite celebrity guests.
