Zeds Dead Visits Navy Pier on 10/21

Image courtesy zeds dead.net. Dubstep has been a solid genre in the EDM world for years, and it shows no signs of slowing down. If you didn’t make it over to Lost Lands a few weeks ago, there’s one thing that I can tell you—everyone was at the Zeds Dead performance that took place on Saturday. I’ve seen a couple videos of the artist that overlapped during Zeds Dead and, and I have to admit, not too many people were there. Zeds Dead is one of the biggest dubstep names in the genre, and they’re throwing down at Navy Pier’s annual EDM performance. Over the years, we have gotten Kaskade, Skrillex, Kygo, and Disclosure. Griz performed an amazing sold out spectacle last year. And now he passes it on to the dubstep kings. Tickets are going pretty, pretty fast. With a few thousand dubstep fans and also a few thousand watts of bass, I think (read sarcastically) that this is going to be one that’s going to make some neighbors wonder what’s going on. What I also want to encourage is to get there early! K?d is an up-and-comer with resemblance to Porter Robinson and Lionel. This is one act people will pay attention to instead of standing in line for beer. He also has a bomb remix of Rezz’s song you should listen to in advance. Ghastly always pleases the crowd and Ephrom is starting to make waves in the EDM world. Make sure to plan ahead with this one! Have the icy/hot ready for the next couple days after the Deadbeats show. Grab your best group of friends on October 21 and be ready, because doors open at 5pm at Navy Pier. Get your tickets here.
