Governor Rauner and J.B. Pritzker Face Off in War of the Spots

Governor Rauner ran a political ad targeting J.B. Pritzker's campaign Thursday, which displayed a recorded 2008 phone conversation between Pritzker and Former Governor Rod Blagojevich. In the conversation, Pritzker is heard expressing interest in positions Blagojevich shares he needs to appoint. Pritzker hit Rauner back with a commercial that explored transparency questioned by the governor's recon at a Quincy veterans home in which water-borne Legionnaires' Disease killed several of its residents.
