The coffee industry sees a wealth of investment in Chicago, by such companies as Luxembourg’s JAB Holding, which owns Panera Bread and Krispy Kreme, and has acquired majority stakes in Caribou Coffee and Peet’s Coffee (Chicago Tribune).
