Rauner, Ives to Appear for Chicago Tribune Endorsement Session
Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner will face off with Republican challenger Rep. Jeanne Ives in front of the Chicago Tribune’s Editorial Board Monday morning, in what might be the only time the two candidates share the same stage. Ives first appeared as a Republican challenger to Rauner during the primary after he signed HB40, a bill that protects abortion rights, and expands coverage.
