Evanston Police Injure Suspect in Mistaken Arrest

Evanston police mistakenly identified Gregory Hall, 60, as the man who committed an armed robbery of a thrift store, and injured his wrists during arrest. While Hall shares some similar qualities with the robbery suspect, he lacks one significant trait: his height. After a witness informed police that Hall was not the man they were looking for, they released Hall. The Evanston Police Department's Office of Professional Standards received a misconduct complaint from Hall, saying he was unable to work as a naprapath because of the injury (Chicago Tribune).
