Illinois Democrats Seek Information on Russian Voting Hackers

U.S. Reps. Robin Kelly (D-2nd) and Raja Krishnamoorthi (D-8th), with 15 other Illinois members of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, signed a letter to committee chairman Trey Gowdy of South Carolina, requesting information on Russian interference during the 2016 presidential election. According to the Illinois State Board of Elections, data for 3,000 voters was viewed and altered. The committee seeks information about how the Russian government manipulated the data (Chicago Tribune).
