Madigan Aide Fired for Sexual Harassment Via Text Message

Kevin Quinn, a key staffer in Speaker Mike Madigan's operation, was fired yesterday for inappropriate text messages sent to former campaign worker Alaina Hampton. Quinn, her supervisor and brother of Ald. Marty Quinn (13th), persistently requested dates with Hampton via text message, despite her repeated rejections. Hampton said she communication with Madigan's office twice last year reporting the inappropriate contacts but nothing happened until Hampton filmed a TV interview.
