Pritzker Cuts His Campaign Another $7 Million Check

Democratic gubernatorial candidate and billionaire JB Pritzker has donated yet another $7 million to his campaign, bringing the total amount of money he’s given to his campaign effort to $76.5 million. The donation was made on Tuesday, and was the 10th such contribution Pritzker has given to his campaign. Governor Bruce Rauner has given his campaign for reelection $57.8 million, and with the help of some other extremely wealthy donors - including Illinois’ richest man Ken Griffin - has amassed $102.8 million for his campaign. The Illinois gubernatorial election, which will take place in November, is on par to become the most expensive gubernatorial election in history. (NBC)
