She is a versatile artist with detailed, witty songs. Her 2017 release, All American Made, was deserving a mainstay on a variety of top 10 lists at the end of last year an this show will be an fantastic way to experience just how nuanced her work is. She will be joined by The Blackfoot Gypsies and their wonderful rolicking sound SO WHAT:  Tickets are $25 for GA, $40 for Balcony! The Friday show is sold out but you still have a shot for Thursday! SO WHAT: Stop by Emporium to listen to some excellent local bands (one once excellent Ohio duo) under the glow of video game cabinets (and regular concert stage lights)! Mutts and their addicting blues rock that will knok you off you feet will be headlining the night alongside the shoegaze pop (didn’t expect those two genres did you?) of  The Cordial Sins, and the undeniablely exciting (and slightly beer soaked) rock of Archie Powell & the Exports! FRIDAY & SATURDAY, APRIL 13th & 14th Bridgeport's Over! @ Co-Prosperity Sphere, 3219 S Morgan St,7:00pm - Midnight, All Ages w/parent WHAT: It’s done folks, Bridgeport’s Over, but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy this special two-day spring festival at the Co-Prosperity Sphere. SO WHAT: Bridgeport’s Over is a special two-day spring music festival that will benefit Lumpen Radio. Enjoy great music from the likes of Dogs At Large, Color Card, Cass Kwik and many more. Fashion, software, housewares, bio plastic, and mushrooms all have a part in the endeavors and this is your chance to see how they’ve progressed through the creative accelerator known as Lost Labs. The evening will feature music from DJ Audio Jack, video art by Brown Shoes Only, bubbly water from Green Sheep, and libations from Moet-Hennessy and Goose Island. Szold Music & Dance Hall and jump into some excellent and diverse music soundscapes. Esso Afrojam Funkbeat takes elements of world music and brings them into a local preservative, adding in beautiful urban poetry and glorious group singing. The brotherly band brings unique sounds that transcend post rock into this manic and fun realm where rocking out is only recourse to the energetic sonic onslaught. It’s a music collector’s paradise! SUNDAY, APRIL 15th The Spring Revolution Craft Show @ Revolution Taproom, 3340 N Kedzie Ave, Noon - 6:00pm, 21+ WHAT: Craft goods of the beer and art variety SO WHAT: The Revolution Craft Show will be setting up shop once again at Revolution taproom. You’ll be able to get some shopping done (never too early for Mother’s Day) with these handcrafted goods from 45+ local artists.
