SO WHAT:Ceramic Animal will be stopping by Schubas for an excellent show to showcase their interesting mix of twangy rock and psychedelic guitars that come together in an irresistible way! SO WHAT: Curated by Dan Savage of Savage Love, the Hump! Film Festival is a traveling event that will be screening a collection of porn shorts each less than five minutes. All the shorts are created by people who aren't porn stars but want to be one for a weekend. The fest is aiming to unite all genders, sexualities, and kinks in a celebration of sex-positivity.

SO WHAT: It's bacon in its every form. Chefs from the finest local restaurants prepare and serve small plates starring this event’s main attraction: bacon. The best mixologists and brewers then will quench your thirst with refreshing bacon-based and bacon-inspired cocktails and brews. Luxury brands and artisan bacon-makers will display, sample, and sell a multitude of local craft bacon and bacon-related products. It’s all the bacon you could want. A portion of proceeds from ticket sales, host raffles and organize sponsor matching donations to local food charities. You can see the full menu that every session offers here!

VIP tickets include an extra hour of bacon goodness from 6:00pm – 7:00pm. Friday VIP tickets include a Akahoshi Ramen Pop Up while all Saturday tickets include a Mezcal Pop-Up with S.A.C.R.E.D.!
SATURDAY, APRIL 6thAdvance Base /Julia Steiner / Jessica Mindrum / Elisa Latrice @ GMan Tavern, 3740 N Clark St, 6:00pm, 21+WHAT: A Planned Parenthood benefit show in partnership with Ground Running Productions
SO WHAT: In addition to helping out a very worthy cause, this benefit show is a great way to catch of some of the most intriguing local music going! Check out the likes of Advance Base and his electronic charm, Julia Steiner of Ratboys doing a solo set, the soulful voice of Elisa Latrice and the folk sound of Jessica Mindrum!

Dimensional Travels: The Art of LURK Opening Reception @ Rotofugi Designer Toy Store & Gallery, 2780 N Lincoln Ave, 7:00pm - 10:00pm, All AgesWHAT: New art at the coolest art/toy shop in town!
SO WHAT: Vancouver Island (Canada) based artist LURK will be in attendance at this opening reception for his new exhibit of gorgeous surrealism! LURK’s art is out of this world insane and downright awesome, so don’t miss opportunity to meet the dimension hopping artist himself!

SO WHAT:Faux Co. will be celebrating the release of their latest LP Radio Silenceat Cole's. Full of fun pop melodies that are underlined by a psychedelic turn and incredible vocals, Faux Co.'s sound is sure to have you swaying the night away with the best of them. Joining then at Cole's will be the wonderful folk harmonies of Ester and the driving psychedelic rock of Harvey Fox!

SO WHAT: Why not spend you early afternoon listening to some old school country cover while enjoying some delicious brunch foods?! This great event will feature Big City Knights, Meg & The Wheelers, and Dan Wade + Ryan Powers dealing some excellent tunes while you chow down! Plus there will also be some awesome raffles too!
NOW WHAT:Entry is $10. All proceeds from the ticket sales benefit CRISP. A portion of proceeds of Surly Brewery beer sales at the event will benefit CRISP.
Here, Chicago Story Show & Potluck @ Stage 773, 1225 W Belmont Ave, 8:00pm -10:00pm,WHAT:Here, Chicago's storytelling potluckSO WHAT: Are you sick of being in your own head? Netflix not doing it to remind you that there's something more in the world? Come to Here, Chicago's long-running creative community event featuring a giant potluck dinner and true stories from some of Chicago's most interesting thinkers and doers. There are 5 invited storytellers and walk-up narrators from the audience, and stories range in seriousness and subject matter. Sherry's been, and hasn't found a space since that is as sincere and kind as Here Chicago in the city.
