Chicago Theatre Week @ You Home, on your favorite streaming device, at various times WHAT: A re-imagined Chicago Theatre Week, SO WHAT: Chicago Theatre Week is meant to give theatre lovers a chance to discover a new theater company in person. But with COVID still keeping things either closed or at reduced capacity, the in-person part is near impossible. Thankfully this online version will fill the spot left from live theater with some incredible shows Check out the lineup of theaters and shows over at their website! NOW WHAT: Prices vary and there are tons of free shows, so check out a few plays this weekend!The Quarantine Concerts @ Experimental Sound Studios, Your best sounding internet-connected device, at various times WHAT: Experimental Sound Studio, Elastic Arts and the Hideout's Resonance Series come together for a series of amazing livestreamed concerts SO WHAT: The Quarantine Concerts is collaborative series which aims to give artists a space to share their work and continue earning a living during this time when live, in person, performances have been cancelled due to COVID-19. This is a perfect opportunity to unite the community for a few hours of amazing musicians. This weekend features:

- Tuesday March 9 – A Scientist Walks into a Bar: Microbiology and Biosafety – 7:00pm – $5 For the March show, A Scientist Walks into a Bar is taking a look inward-- namely, inside the Earth itself. Join the fun monthly science show for a conversation with Vedran Lekić, a seismologist at the University of Maryland who uses seismic waves to learn what's under the Earth's surface. They'll talk about earthquakes, tectonic plates, and how we know what we know about the world beneath our feet.
