Out of Space Takes Over Canal Shores August 4-7 with an Excellent Lineup

Last year, Out of Space, the outdoor festival put on by the wonderful Evanston SPACE organizers, returned after having to take 2020 off. The fest features a great lineup as always, maintaining most of their originally announced lineup. But it's time to start fresh with a completely new lineup at familiar ground! Out of Space is back and will be taking over Canal Shores (August 4-7) and Temperance Beer Co. (September 1-4) for another year of extraordinary shows! Today they announced the full Canal Shores lineup and looks pretty damn great! Opening night features indie rock icon Jenny Lewis and the bluegrass infused folk sounds of Trampled by Turtles, both known for delivering entertaining shows. Night two sees Elvis Costello and the Imposters, who at this point their illustrious careers need no introduction, accompanied by what is sure to be a energetic performance from Nick Lowe & Los Straightjackets and Nicole Atkins! The third evening will be perfect for those looking form something a little more country with Lucinda Williams headlining and opening sets from the ethereal Waxahatchee and the inimitable Liam Kazar. The Canal Shores portion of Out of Space will close out with some legendary Chicago Blues from Buddy Guy accompanied by Todd Park Mohr of Big Head Todd & The Monsters! Tickets go on-sale to the general public this Friday, April 1st at 10am. You can check out individual ticket links below. There will be plenty of presales too with Out of Space Past Buyer Presales happening on Wednesday (10am) and the SPACE venue presale starting on Thursday (10am).  Be sure to check their socials (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram), website and join their newsletter for special presale codes and more information about in-person box office hours!  As with many events happening this year, Out of Space will be requiring provide proof of COVID Vaccination (meaning they have received their second dose or third dose of Pfizer or Moderna and 1st does of Johnson & Johnson no less than 14 days before the concert date) or a negative PCR test within 48 hours of each festival day.
