WHAT: A great way to explore cuisine and fine dining at restaurants throughout the Northside
SO WHAT: Take a break from eating at home and check out some of the great restaurants in the expanded Northside Restaurant Week! Lincoln Square, Ravenswood, Andersonville, Edgewater, Northcenter, Rogers Park, and Uptown restaurants are now included in this fantastic foodie event! Enjoy cuisine from all over the world—from Argentinian, French, and Italian to southern comfort food and beyond. Restaurants will show off their wide array of dining options with special prix-fixe menus to enjoy.

Nationwide Economic Boycott -- 12am Friday to 12am Saturday -- All major retailers and online; buy local if necessary 
WHAT: Friday February 28 is an all-day economic boycott to protest the current fascist Grand Theft Government. 
SO WHAT: This protest encourages ALL OF US—supporters of representative democracy and accountability—to shout out our message by making no purchases in person or online, especially from large corporations that have supported the current assault on government services and have removed diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives from their missions.
NOW WHAT: If you must buy something, shop at local stores and try to use cash, not a credit card.

The Neo-Futurists’ The Infinite Wrench @ The Neo-Futurist Theater, 5153 N Ashland, Friday and Saturday 10:30pm, Sunday 7pm, 16+
WHAT: Quick plays live and online!
SO WHAT: The Neo-Futurists are back! Their Infinite Wrench is an  ongoing, ever-changing attempt to perform 30 plays in 60 minutes for a live audience. Now it’s actually a live audience that will be enjoying the performance in person!
NOW WHAT: Join the Neo-Futurists this weekend for $20!  The Infinite Wrench Goes Viral will be continuing til February (and possibly beyond) over at their Patreon

SATURDAY, MARCH 1 (& BEYOND)

International Carnivale @ Navy Pier, 600 E. Grand Ave.,  1:00pm- 5:00pm, All Ages
WHAT: Celebrate Carnivale
SO WHAT: Carnivale is celebrated throughout the world in fun and unique ways. International Carnivale, hosted by Logan Lu, will give you a glimpse into the myriad of celebrations including those of Brazil, Colombia, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Italy, and North America. You’ll have the chance to enjoy fun art-making activities, music, food and dance from across the globe.

SUNDAY, MARCH 2 (& BEYOND)

Brewsology Beer Fest @ Museum of Science and Industry, 5700 S DuSable Lake Shore Dr, 6:00pm – 11:00pm, 21+
WHAT: A little bit of beer for your museum trip!
SO WHAT: The Brewsology Beer Fest is the boozy museum field trip. The event will be making over the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry after hours with over 60 craft breweries and cideries. Honestly, the lineup is enormous with Revolution Brewing, Pollyanna, Noon Whistle, 3 Floyds, and Half Acre barely scratching the surface! You’ll be able to access the museum with beer samplings included with admission.
NOW WHAT: Tickets are $55 for GA (8pm-11pm), $70 for Early Admission (7pm-11pm), and $95 for VIP tickets .
