WHAT: Ferocious musical females smash the patriarchy.
SO WHAT: Pitchfork’s editor-in-chief Puja Patel talks to a trio of music royalty, including Sonic Youth’s Kim Gordon about her new anthology This Woman’s Work, book editor and former music journalist Sinead Gleeson, and Glen Ellyn native, avant-garde performance artist Laura Anderson, who recently narrated the documentary Sisters with Transistors. Masks and proof of vaccination are currently required for indoor programs.
NOW WHAT: Tickets are $10 for students and teachers, $15 for CHF members, and $20 for general public. The book is available for $24.
