About this event:
WHAT: Ada Cheng’s original solo performance designed with political urgency.
SO WHAT: Not Quite is a direct response to our the Trump Presidency and is intended to be an intervention and a challenge to current politics. In this solo, Cheng uses the phrase “not quite” to connect three main themes: meanings of home, the fractured yet intersectional nature of the Asian American identity, and intersection of gender, race, sexuality, and immigration. The performance will show the complexity and perils of living under the Trump administration for immigrant women of color.
NOW WHAT: Tickets for this “one-night only” performance are $10 at the door or online
