About this event:
WHAT: Remy Bumppo Theatre, the International Museum of Surgical Science and Frankenreads are teaming up for a marathon reading of Mary Shelley’s 1818 novel, Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus. Readers will be Remy Bumppo actors and supporters.
SO WHAT: This will be seven hours of reading. You might not have time to stay and listen to all seven hours, but you can drop in for a portion of the marathon before or after exploring the museum. You also will be able to watch the event live-streamed on Remy Bumppo’s Facebook page. Read our review of Remy Bumppo’s current production of Frankenstein by Nick Dear, based on Mary Shelley’s novel.
NOW WHAT: For admission, purchase tickets to the museum. Adults, $17; ages 4-13, $9; 3 and under and IMSS members, free. Save $1 by buying tickets in advance.
