It's that magical time of year. The winter holidays? Valentine's Day? Even better—Chicago Restaurant Week. From January 23 to February 8, CRW gives Chicagoans and visitors alike the opportunity to enjoy top culinary fare without paying top dollar. So get ready to cross these hot spots off your 2026 bucket list without wrecking your New Year's budget. In no particular order, here are some of the best deals on delicious meals we've spotted so far.
1. Tengoku Aburiya (West Loop)

Chef Sangtae Park is bringing fresh seafood with exciting twists to Tengoku Aburiya's Restaurant Week menu. Appetizers are a choice between Kampachi Yuzi, which utilizes yuzu citrus and amberjack fish in the sauce, and Ikageso Karaage, aka deep-fried squid legs. The main dishes offered are Bara Chirashi Don, a hearty rice bowl with sashimi and seafood, and the Spicy Miso Buta Udon, which includes udon noodles, sliced pork belly, spicy miso, onion, garlic, chives, green onion, and pickled ginger. Desserts are designed by Executive Pastry Chef Alana Wang, and these choices should make everyone at the table happy they don't have to share: an Apple Tatin, featuring caramel apple, crispy burdock (root), and oolong ice cream, and a Matcha Torte, with anko (red bean paste) and whipped cream. Overall, this meal sounds both dreamy and affordable.

2. Daisies (Logan Square)

Daisies Chicago in Logan Square is one of the newer restaurants we're covering, but you may already have it on your must-try list. There are two options for dinner, one at $45 and one at $60, which both kick off with Burrata, Beets, or Sweet Onion Toast as the starter. Then you'll choose between the Pappardelle, Winter Squash Cannelloni, or Strozzapreti with Duck Bolognese and Parmigiano Reggiano. (Talk about an impossible decision.) If you opt for the pricier dinner option, you can choose between second mains, including the Pork Collar, Celery Root, or Chicken Leg and Thigh. And for both reservation tiers, you'll be treated to dessert: either Dark Chocolate Tart, Butter Cake, or Vanilla Bean Rice Pudding. Happy eating!

Farm Bar is a fabulous choice for patrons looking to support sustainable farming, with ingredients fresh from the restaurant's owner-operated Brown Dog Farm. We aren't covering lunch deals for this article, but it's worth noting that you can treat yourself to a midday Farm Bar feast for only $30. For dinner, you can pay only $45 for a two-course meal and dessert. Start off with Cheese Curds or the Side Salad, then grab your choice of main dish between the North Road Salmon, Maitake Mushroom, or Pork Ragu with Pappardelle. Dessert can be Sticky Date Cake, Cheesecake, or your choice of Gelato. With high-quality ingredients and talented chefs at two Chicago locations, Farm Bar is a Restaurant Week no-brainer.

4. Kindling (The Loop)

Kindling is also offering a top-notch three-course meal for a steal. It's got three decadent choices for your appetizer: Crispy Brussels Sprouts with torn mint and Thai chili sauce; a Caesar Salad with farm egg bottarga, baby gem, and crispy shallots; or the Lobster Bisque topped with poached lobster and brioche croutons. For your main dish, you can choose between: Rigatoni alla Vodka with housemade pasta and Parmigiano Reggiano; Cedar Grilled Salmon with maple miso glaze, ponzu, and charred lime; or Brine + Herb-Marinated Amish Farm Chicken with Greek fries and lemon oregano jus. This restaurant week deal is especially appealing, since it has three choices for each course and covers options for both vegetarians and meat-eaters. If you're feeling like some extra luxury, you can upgrade your meal to include 10oz Pork Secreto Steak Frites with gochujang soubise, or 10oz Prime Steak Frites with salsa verde, both for $15. The included dessert is once again a three-way split: between the Crème Brûlée, Chocolate Pot de Crème, or Lemon Tart.
5. La Grande Boucherie (River North)

We're just covering dinner here, but it's worth noting that this restaurant is also providing delicious fare all day long, with two additional menus for brunch and lunch, both offered for $30. La Grand Boucherie has crafted a three-course dinner menu with French highlights and a steakhouse influence. The dinner menu has an impressive four choices for your starter, between Soupe à l‘Oignon, Caesar Salad, Winter Salad, and Steak Tartare. If that wasn't enough, you'll have five choices for your main, featuring the Boucherie's take on Mussels Dijonnaise, Flat Iron steak, Provençal style ratatouille, Roasted Chicken, and its signature Boeuf Bourguignon (topped with a red wine reduction, and served alongside baby carrots, mushrooms, pearl onions, lardons, and fingerling potatoes). For dessert, it's a tête-à-tartes: either vanilla grapefruit or chocolate caramel.
6. Guinness Open Gate Brewery Chicago (West Loop)

If you're already hyping yourself up for the insanity of a Chicago St. Patrick's Day, you can practice splitting the G at Guinness Open Gate Brewery. It will be offering Guinness Beef Stew, slow-braised with stout, and a Traditional Shepherd’s Pie topped with golden mash. If you're willing to trek a bit out west from the city, you can treat yourself to the classic Italian three-course meal at Il Mio. You'll choose from appetizer options, including the Meatball with Polenta or a Harvest Salad. Main courses will show off Italian favorites with a twist, like Pappardelle with Short Rib Ragu and Chicken Picatta. Last but never least, you'll have a choice of dessert between Tiramisu or creamy Chocolate Crème Brulee. Another out-of-town option is Cima in Rosemont, northwest of Chicago. Showing off its food with the best of CRW, this Mediterranean delight will feel like a much-needed vacation from wintry flavors. You'll start with Baked Feta, served with Romesco, Marcona Almonds, Sicilian EVOO, and grilled sourdough from Publican Quality Breads. Then, you'll be treated to the restaurant's Signature Half Fried Chicken, accompanied by Cornbread Pudding, Roasted Local Carrots from Nichol's Farm, and Brown Butter Hot Honey. As if that wasn't enough, you'll finish up with a seasonally-offered Molly's Cupcake: the Cherry Pie Cupcake, featuring Vanilla Cake, Spiced Cherry Filling, and Brown Sugar Buttercream. This meal definitely sounds worth the trip!

9. Bar Tutto (Fulton Market)

Another restaurant offering a steal for lunch, priced at $30, Chef Joe Flamm is kicking off Bar Tutto's first-ever CRW with a bang. The pre-fixed dinner menu features options for three courses: You'll start with the Sausage and Mushroom Crostino, then move on to your choice of main, between the BT Burger with provolone piccante, smoked onion, mustard, and pickle, the Half Chicken with a madeira jus, and the Striped Bass with a smoked fennel salsa verde. For dessert, you'll be transported to Italy in the summertime, with a Panna Cotta, complete with oat streusel and blueberry coulis.

10. Nadu (Lincoln Park)

Nadu may very well be offering the best bang for your buck on this list, with a four-course prix-fixe Tasting Menu. It's also especially accommodated to include Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian tasting paths, as well as gluten-free and vegan labeling in their CRW menu. In doing so, the restaurant is living up to its mission: "ensuring everyone can experience the rich cultural and gastronomic landscapes of India." (via Kinship Company). If you're looking for the savory comfort of high-quality Baja-Mexican food, Diego's has got you covered. For your starter, you can choose between the Tuna Tostada, the Camote Tostada with pomegranate and salsa macha, or the fresh Ceviche. Next, you'll select a main course between the Enchiladas Suiza with rice and beans, any two tacos from options like Gobernador, Norteña, or Fish, and the signature Diego Burrito. This menu comes with plenty of sides you can add to introduce even more flavor into your meal, including rice, beans, plantains, and esquites. And the dessert options are classics for a reason: opt for a traditional flan or a scoop of Mexican vanilla ice cream with polvorón crumble and caramel.
