We’re so close to this years Pitchfork Music Festival and our anticipation is through the roof! With a 98 degree day on Friday and possible thunderstorms scattered throughout Saturday and Sunday, we’re hoping for the best for this years festival! Much like last year, the tight lineup of amazing artists coming to Union Park for three days is way too good for these extreme weather conditions to scare us away!
Before you brave the tumultuous Chicago weather for one of the best music festivals in the city, we’ve compiled a playlist to get you acquainted with the eclectic lineup. Each performer gets one song on this mixtape (The only Great Black Music Ensemble songs on Spotify are in to 20+ minute range, so we’ve added a Youtube video instead), just hit shuffle and discover what awaits you during your Pitchfork Music Festival weekend. And don’t forget to check out some fun after shows and our picks of who we’re excited to see perform this year!
There’s still time to pick up Pitchfork Music Festival passes if you haven’t already! Regular three-day passes ($200), single day tickets ($95), and Pitchfork Plus tickets ($400 for three-day, $185 for single day) are still available! You can purchase them over at Eventbrite!
