Riot Fest's 20th year was truly something special. Day one was wonderfully weird. Day two was wild and frantic. Both days delivered on everything you could want from a festival weekend and honestly most other fest would leave it at that. But Riot Fest raised the bar and flew right over it on Day three.
You got a little of the weird with Hanson (let's not speak too much of the technical difficulties that pushed their set time 40 mins), a lot of the wild from a stellar Pegboy set, and something a little bit extra from the progressive minds of Lambrini Girls and Idles who both proudly called out fascists, sexists, racists, and more during their time on stage. Idles may have put one of the best sets of all of Riot Fest, thats just how damn good they are.
